Art Hotel Aomori

I had a fantastic weekend! The lobby was fine, filled with beautiful artwork, and the breakfast spread was delicious, featuring lots of local specialties. Our room was spacious and comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise. Plus, it's only a short walk to restaurants and attractions, making it super convenient to explore the area. The staff were super friendly and even let us leave our luggage before check-in!

On the downside, the air conditioning struggled a bit—it was pretty hot. Opening the window helped, but it got a little noisy outside. the location is a bit far from the train station, so be prepared for a 15-20 minute walk. But honestly, these were minor inconveniences in an overall great stay!

My room at this hotel was perfect and big size for the value. It had a great selection of facilities, including an electronic key card, a work desk, and television etc. Central location was a plus.

The room was rather absolutely perfect and fairly quiet, I loved it. The breakfast was marvellous and very good with lots of delicious options. The hotel was placed in the central location mostly down a main shopping street.

the lobby is stunning, adorned with beautiful art pieces that create a lovely atmosphere. my room had plenty of space and a nice layout, which made for a comfortable stay. being just a short walk from the train station and near the sea made it even more convenient, and the breakfast was enjoyable, despite being the same each day.

Perfect and luxury place, we did not want to leave there.

We were there for 2 nights and felt would want to stay there again. It was fairly clean, breakfast was marvellous and very very good. Particularly good location and overall the staff was very amiable and pleasant. Plus, it was just off all the attractions, the cruise ship terminal and a walkway across the harbour front to the ferry museum and restaraunts.

The hotel rooms are freshly renovated and quiet with wonderful sunsets, the bathroom.

The bed was super uncomfortable, like sleeping on a bunch of springs. Plus, the breakfast was such a letdown-just wanted a decent egg, but they couldn't even do that. Really felt like a waste of money.

I had a good stay at the Art, where everything felt well thought out and beautifully presented. My room was surprisingly spacious, complete with a comfortable seating area and a separate space for dressing. The breakfast options were impressive, featuring local dishes alongside a refined selection that catered to various tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my experience enjoyable and relaxed.

The lobby captures attention with fine displays of Nebuta art. I loved the view of the harbor from the room. It enhanced the experience. The breakfast buffet offered various delicious options. The room felt cramped. The bathroom was particularly tight-almost too small for comfort. While the staff were helpful, the communication could be a challenge at times. Room temperature control was centralized, made adjusting comfort slightly inconvenient. Parking was amusing yet difficult due to a pole blocking the designated space. It would be nice if they considered rearranging the parking area for better accessibility.

During my recent stay for a quick getaway, I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel’s unique decor featuring Nebuta artwork, which added a lovely cultural touch. The room was on the 12th floor, offering a fantastic city view and no signs of stale smoke, contrary to previous comments. It was clean and cozy, with plenty of space for our backpacks. The location was convenient, just a short bus ride from the JR station, and the lobby showcased beautiful art pieces. The comfortable bed and helpful staff made our experience even better.

The room was bigger than I expected, with a comfy seating area and nice layout. Breakfast was fantastic with local dishes like apple curry and scallops. The lobby is beautifully decorated with lanterns and art.

The view of the ocean from the top floors really stands out. Some rooms have unique air conditioning setups, like the one with a separate controller, which can be refreshing when the central system doesn't cut it.

The hotel feels outdated, with cleanliness issues like mouldy window sills and parts of the bathroom. Rooms are quite small, with cramped setups making it hard to navigate around luggage. For taller guests, the ceilings might be an unwelcome surprise. The walk from the train station is longer than anticipated, so pack light.
